Because our crews have to make up the work normally scheduled on the day of the holiday, collections may start several hours earlier than usual the next day. If your garbage pickup day is the day after a holiday, put your garbage (and recycling) out on the holiday. Because of the volume, the truck will not be sent back. There will be no service on the following holidays: Memorial Day There will be NO SERVICE on Monday, May 31th. Service will be on Tuesday. Tuesday’s service will be on Tuesday. July 4th Recycling and garbage will be PICKED UP ON JULY 5TH! Put out
recycling and garbage on Sunday night. Labor Day There will be NO SERVICE on Monday, September 6th. Service will be on Tuesday. Tuesday’s service will be on Tuesday. Thanksgiving Day There will be NO SERVICE on Thursday, November 25th. Service will be on Friday. Friday’s service will be on Friday. Christmas Day There will be NO SERVICE on Saturday, December 25th. New Year’s Day There will be NO SERVICE on Saturday, January 1st., 2011. |
